Denver Street Soccer exists to provide the opportunity of success for every underprivileged person in the Denver area. Soccer teaches such valuable life skills as responsibility, communication, commitment, teamwork, and respect for our players to apply to their lives both on and off the field. Through camaraderie, life coaching, and an enthusiasm for the game of soccer, our program helps to restore a sense of self-worth, identify and purpose to the lives of homeless or troubled men, women and youth
Street Soccer is a small-sided soccer game, four players from each team on a miniature field. Because there are fewer players and a smaller field everyone has tons of touches on the ball and chances to score! The game is played at a much higher pace, which helps players hone all of the soccer techniques and tactics. Players come from all sorts of skill and experience levels.
